GRUPAMI formed in 1966, in Šibenik, Croatia (ex-Yugoslavia) from members of two teenage bands 'Magneti' and 'Mjesečari'. Going to college next year in Zagreb, they gain the reputation of great R&B and soul band, and through the next years they secure their lead position on dance floors and concerts throughout Croatia. After consecutive engagements in Zagreb Student centre at the end of the 60's, popular band from Šibenik gained the cult status of a favorite group with a dalmatian and american southern accent. The lead singer Neven Mijat was the one to contribute that. It is his voice that defined the genre and repertoar of the band (Ray Charles, James Brown, Otis Redding). Still, one of the biggest hits of the band was the song ''Bam Bam Ba Ba Lu Bam'', whose author is Neven Mijat. Grupa Mi stopped with active engagements on stage in 1972., but in 2001., in front of Šibenik's City Hall, they again played the unforgettable concert named "…

Pop rock group THE MONTENEGROFIVE was established in the late sixties in Montenegro (ex-Yugoslavia). They were very popular in the sixties and seventies in the former Yugoslavia, and they recorded a few albums for the European market. They split up in the late seventies.

KORNI GRUPA was formed in September 1968 in Beograd, Serbia (ex-Yugoslavia) by former Indexi keyboardist Kornelije Kovač. The first lineup of the band included guitarist Borko Kacl (a former Zlatni Dečaci member), bass guitarist Bojan Hreljac (a former Elipse member), drummer Vladimir "Furda" Furduj (a former Ellipse member) and female singer Miroslava "Seka" Kojadinović. The band had its first live appearance in Belgrade's Dom sindikata at the sportsman-of-the-year award ceremony. In 1969 Dalibor Brun left the band conventionally, and the band's new singer became a former Dinamiti member Dado Topić who soon after brought another former Dinamiti member, guitarist Josip Boček to the band. Borko Kacl soon left the band, and retired from music (and died in a car accident at the beginning of 1980s). With Dado Topić Korni Grupa turned to more progressive-oriented sound, recording songs "Jedna žena", "Prvo svetlo u kući broj 4" and "Žena …

FARAONI was a rock band from Izola, Slovenia (ex-Yugoslavija). They formed in 1967 and they are stil active in music. In 1970 they recorded one good EP with three strong compositions.

IBRICAJUSIĆ started his career in Dubrovnik in 1965. On invitation of composer Pero Gotovac he went in Zagreb. He was a winner on Zagreb Festival in 1968, with song "Celuloidni pajac". He won the first prize on the same festival also in 1969 with song "Osobenjak" and in 1970 with song "Mačka". Then, Zagreb became too small for him (as he said), so he went in Paris where he has felt international experience. After all, he always returned by summers every year to his hometown Dubrovnik and sang midnight concerts to his loyal public. By using his summer travels to Dubrovnik he started to cooperate with Dubrovačke ljetne igre in 1971 and with songs of Pero Gotovac he sang on shows of Games Edward II, Columbo and Aretej. He composed music and sang in the show "Životopis Miha Pracata" in 1977.
